What song always ends up on your pregame playlist?

“Dixieland Delight” by Alabama. It’s a classic that gets me fired up no matter the occasion. Singing along to the chorus with my teammates has created some of my favorite pregame memories.

What is one item you could never travel without?

My Bluey neck pillow. I take every opportunity to sleep on flights and long bus rides, and it keeps me comfortable wherever we’re traveling.

What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

People are usually surprised to learn that I have a younger sister named Addie. She never comes to my games because she isn’t a sports fan at all, so most people don’t even know I have a sister.

If you weren’t playing softball what would you be doing?

If I wasn’t playing softball, I’d be pursuing my dream of working for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Gameday Operations or as a Team Photographer. Being part of an MLB organization has always been one of my biggest career goals.

What’s a piece of advice you’d give your younger self?

Don’t be so scared. If you’re a good person, do the right thing, and keep smiling, everything will work out the way it’s meant to.
