Olivia Pichardo Becomes First Woman to Pitch in a D1 Baseball Game

History was made this week when Brown University’s Olivia Pichardo became the first woman to pitch in a D1 baseball game. The senior retired the lone batter she faced on Brown University Baseball’s Senior Day.

Pichardo is no stranger to history. She is the first woman to play D1 baseball when she debuted in 2023.
